Massachusetts Podway

Pods operate similar to on-demand, autonomous taxis, but travel on a new light infrastructure — a podway — that takes no land. Unlike conventional public transit, podways are 100% privately funded and provide non-stop trips that include first-and-last mile for both people and freight.

Podways combine the convenience of cars, the capacity of trains, the efficiency of bicycles, and the speed and safety of flying — effectively replacing cars, buses, trains, trucks and short flights.
